Enable Students, Teachers or Tutors to View/Edit their own custom fields
When defining custom fields in the user master data, the management system provides the option to indicate whether the specific custom field should be visible e editable by the user himself.
Shared fields will be viewable by the user on his or her page from the personal profile.
As a first step you will need to create the custom field to be applied to the students' master records through this procedure.
After creating the custom field we should click the icon Edit:
From this page we will be able to enable the following options:
- Visible to user: Students will be able to view this field in your profile.
- User Editable.: Allows the user to edit this custom field.
Click the "Edit custom field" to save the operation.
Thus, from their Web account, the student will be able to view and edit these fields by by clicking their name at the top right of the screen by clicking the "Edit Profile Data".
At this point the student will be able to view and, if enabled, edit the custom fields that have been shared by the school.
