Inspection-type account setup for external course promotion bodies
For courses financed by some fund, or accredited by public institutions such as regions, especially if the course is conducted through Distance Learning, the inspection body requires the possibility of monitoring activities, through some mode.
To create one or more inspector-type accounts to enable such monitoring of funded courses, navigate to Administration → Inspectors and from the next screen click the button in the upper right-hand corner "Enter inspector".
Then enter:
- Name*: the name of the course inspector (required field)
- User name*: the username that the inspector will use to log in (required field)
- Email address*: the email address of the course inspector (required field)
- Password*: the password that the inspector will use to log in (required field)
- Confirm Password*: repeat the password entered in the previous field (required field)
- Phone: the telephone number of the course inspector.
- Cell phone: the cell phone number of the course inspector.
Click the "Insert inspector" to finish the operation.
After creating the account, click the edit icon on the account line to configure the inspector's degree of control.
- Which courses can be inspected?
- Courses belonging to a fund: if enabled, by checking this option it will be possible to choose a fund from those configured in the system. So the inspector will only have access to courses related to the Fund. (click for here to read the article related to the creation of funds)
- Manual course selection: by checking this option, it will be possible to manually choose the courses to which the external inspection body will have access, via the second icon with 3 small stars on the inspector's master data line.
- All unarchived courses: checking this option will allow the inspector to have access to all courses that have not been archived, thus both open and closed
- What does the inspector visualize?
- Only meetings scheduled for the current day: Checking this option will allow the control body to view only the classes scheduled for the current day
- Meetings scheduled up to the current day: Checking this option allows the controlling body to view all classes scheduled up to the current day
- The inspector can access attendance records: Enabling this option will give the inspector access to class attendance records, those completed by the teacher or secretary in ScuolaSemplice
- Administrator disabled (will no longer be able to access the system): By enabling this checkbox, the inspector will no longer be able to log in to the system via his or her account
After completing the configuration, click the "Update Inspector" to save the operation.
