Study Plans with Subjects of Choice

1 - Study plan configuration

The first step in being able to specify in a curriculum that there are courses with subjects by choice, is to go to "edit" of the curriculum in question and enable the flag of the same name:

Having done so, in the process of "management of years of study" when we go to create the course that provides a choice from part of the student, we will simply give a generic name to the course and in the field "subject" do not specify a single subject but set "subject of choice":

2 - Activation of the curriculum

After configuring our curriculum, we will need to activate it for the correct academic year, after having performed this operation we will have to move on to another step, the association of courses to the years of study provided in the plan:

Each course (mathematics, chemistry and anatomy) may be associated with a specific course, as enrollment in the Plan of studies does not provide for a choice, but a direct enrollment in a single-subject course, while instead for the course of LANGUAGE, having established precisely "subject of choice" it will be necessary to combine 4 courses of the 4 languages included among choices:

Now that we have correctly associated all the courses with each discipline in the curriculum, our situation will look like this:

Immediate enrollment subjects (mathematics, chemistry and anatomy) possess a single associated course, so automatically the student who enrolls in this curriculum, will automatically be enrolled in every course associated with these subjects.
For Language on the other hand, having associated 4 different courses (one for each possible choice) the student will be associated with the courses in the languages chosen during enrollment automatically.

3 - Student enrollment in curriculum with choice subject

By making an enrollment of a student in the first year of our curriculum, we will immediately find the choice of subjects as provided:

After we have made our choice (e.g., English and Spanish) we proceed in order as per the standard and after completing the enrollment, going back to Didactics → Plans of Study and checking the enrollment management:

and subsequently in Enrollment Management:

We will find that the student Blucloud was correctly enrolled in all address subjects (Math, chemistry and anatomy) and as for Language, he was included only in the courses of the subjects he chosen during enrollment, thus English and Spanish:
