Sending automatic reminders of upcoming classes to students and tutors

To configure automatic sending of reminders of upcoming lessons to students and/or tutors, navigate to Configuration → Settings and expand the "Settings related to students and tutors"section.
Now from the section "Upcoming Lesson Reminder", enable the checkbox "Enable the service of sending reminders to course participants.".

CAUTION: Activating lesson reminders can result in many emails being sent daily, make sure you have an appropriate sending plan in place with your provider or at BluCloud

Now, through the checkboxes below, you will be able to choose the course types for which you want to configure automatic lecture reminders to students:

• Private courses: courses that do not appear to be linked to client companies (if enabled)
• Corporate courses: courses that have been associated with companies that enroll for their own employees (if qualified)
• Individual/regular: individual courses with regular weekly scheduling
• Individual/non-regular: Individual courses with flexible scheduling, for which you plan your classes manually.
• Collective/regular: the group courses with regular weekly scheduling
• Collective/non-regular: the group courses with flexible scheduling, for which you manually plan your classes.

Advance notice with respect to class time: from the following drop-down menu, choose one of the options below to configure how long before the start of class the reminder notification should start, being able to choose from a minimum of two business hours to a maximum of two days.

Communication medium used: from the following drop-down menu, choose how you intend to have the lesson reminder sent, being able to choose from:

• Exclusively the App: with this option, reminders will only be sent via push notification to the App of ScuolaSemplice
• The app or email: with this option, reminders will be sent via push notification if the recipient's App is connected, otherwise via email
• Email only: with this option, reminders will be sent only by email
• Both App and Email: with this option, reminders will come via both push notification and email

Communication recipients.: from the following drop-down menu, choose the recipients of the class reminder, being able to choose from:

• Only the student if reachable (otherwise the tutor).: with this option, the reminder message will be sent only to the connected tutor if reachable, or otherwise to the student (if, for example, the tutor does not appear to be connected to the App or does not have an associated email address)
• Only the tutor if reachable (otherwise the student).: with this option, the reminder message will be sent only to the student if reachable, or otherwise to the connected tutor (if, for example, the student does not appear to be connected to the App or does not have an associated email address)
• Both student and tutor: with this option, the message will be sent to both student and tutor connected

Click the "Apply Changes" to save the operation.
